Counseling and Support Groups
Group counseling has so many benefits. Feeling seen and understood by people with similar life experiences, the affordability, and the manageable time commitment, are some of the many reasons people choose to participate in groups. Throughout the year, I offer mental health treatment groups, skills groups, and support groups to address a variety of needs.
(Note: I am only able to bill medical insurance for groups that are directly tied to a medical diagnosis. Please contact me to discuss if insurance billing is an option for you. Even without insurance, many clients find groups to be an affordable option for counseling. I keep costs low to make these groups as accessible as possible).

Support Group: Parents of Transgender Youth
Meets Monthly
The purpose of this group is to provide a safe space for parents and caregivers of transgender youth to share experiences, learn from each-other, and build community. As a safety precaution, I provide the dates and times of meetings after the registration link is completed.
Cost: Your first group is FREE. After that, $20 per meeting. Support groups are different than counseling groups, in that they do not provide treatment for a mental health diagnosis. As such, I am not able to bill medical insurance for this group.
