Shoshana Weed
Shoshana Weed, MA, LPC - Program Manager
Shoshana has been serving youth and families in the mental health field for 15 years. She has a background in community mental health, school counseling, and clinical supervision. Her approach to counseling is rooted in neuroscience and polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and a systems perspective. She adapts evidence-based practices to the needs of her clients, recognizing that traditional models of therapy have failed to serve many marginalized identities. As a parent, partner, and late-diagnosed neurodivergent person herself, she understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and that the best therapy happens when clients are trusted as the expert of their own experiences.
Shoshana has provided staff trainings on topics including trauma-informed practices, conflict resolution, de-escalation, parent coaching, burnout prevention, and interrupting hate speech. In her spare time, she can be found hiking, rock climbing, playing with her family, or nerding out (I mean, doing important research) at a local coffee shop.
